On January 1, 2012, The Bicycle Casino will be the newest stop on The World Series of Poker Circuit Tour, kicking off the year with a wide spectrum of events spread over 19 days. Poker aficionados will appreciate the diverse schedule and flock to the Bicycle Casino luxurious and spacious Event Center to play popular games like No Limit Hold’em, 2-7 Triple Draw, Badugi, Stud and Omaha with buy-ins starting as low as $150 to as much as $1,600, and everything in between.
The one thing that the Bicycle Casino has to offer that few casinos on the WSOP Circuit Tour can is the Live at the Bike live stream. Several of the WSOP-C ring event tables will be streamed live, with a 1 hour delay, on liveatthebike.com. Not to be confused with a boring static stream, Live at the Bike boasts hole card graphics and the action will be analyzed by commentators Bart Hanson, David Tuckman, Nichoel Jurgens and Adam Strohl who will also be interacting with the viewing audience though social media.
The WSOP Circuit Tour begins with the $345 No Limit Hold’em Re-entry Event, that allows players eliminated in Day 1A to re-enter on Day 1B for a second chance opportunity to win the first WSOP ring of the year. Other key events on the schedule are the $555 6-Max No Limit Hold’em event, the $345 Omaha 8 or Better event and the $1080 No Limit Hold’em event.

Poker's social media guru, Jay "WhoJedi " Newnum will be bringing his recent tournament winnings to the Live at the Bike table.
Jay "WhoJedi" Newnum |
WhoJedi is a familiar face in the poker industry. He started his poker career back at the start of the millennia, just as the Moneymaker Affect was taking hold on poker enthusiasts across the world. He is most known for his work as the industry's foremost expert in all things social media. Through his company, WJ Media Marketing LLC, Newnum is the go-to-guy for social media consultation and boasts a clientele that includes Joe Hachem, Jonathan Duhamel, Ben Lamb, The WSOP, Epic Poker, Deepstacks Live, Purdue Sports, Ricki Lake and Matthew Perry, just to name a few. In addition to his social media business, Newnum has had a successful poker media career, having been employed as a reporter for CardPlayer, Poker News, the World Series of Poker, Epic Poker and Savage Tournaments.
Jay Newnum has been a guest commentator on the show before. You may remember him from his appearance back in August of this year, when he sported Live at the Bike headphones and sat with Bart Hanson in the booth. However, this time Newnum will be seated at the table with a rack of yellow chips to show that there is more to WhoJedi than policing the twitter community.
Newnum is an avid poker player with many internet and live tournament cashes, including a first place No Limit Hold'em trophy that he won at a nearby Los Angeles casino, earlier this week.
Greg Sessler |
Newnum will be joined at the table by the Mega Millions Series II runner up, Greg Sessler, and the AM-790 KLAC Petros & Money VIP to make for an interesting Friday line-up.
Commentators for Friday's show will be Bart Hanson and Adam Strohl. Tune in to liveatthebike.com at 7:30 p.m. PST on November 11, 2011 to watch Jay Newnum show off his poker skills.
The Bicycle Casino is giving away an iPad2 to the High Hand* of the day, every day in November. Play any of The Bike's Plaza Games, including Live at the Bike, in November and you too could win an iPad2.
How it works: The Plaza Floor will track each qualifying High-Hand starting at midnight. If, for example, a player at a $2-3 No Limit Hold'em ($100-$300) table shows Quad 4s on the board at 1:00 p.m., then Quad 4s will be announced as the High-Hand to beat. If at 4:00 p.m. a player shows Quad 8s at the $40-80 Limit Hold'em table, then Quad 8s is the High-Hand to beat. If at 10:00 p.m. a player sitting in a $10-25 ($1000+) No Limit Hold'em game shows a 6-High Straight Flush, then the 6-High Straight Flush will be the High-Hand to beat. If by 11:59 p.m., no other hand is better than a 6-High Straight Flush, the player who showed the High-Hand will win an iPad2.
The first player to show a Royal Flush will immediately win the iPad2 for the day
*High-Hand is Quads or better. The High-Hand to beat will be posted in the Plaza Section. Players must show both cards for his/her hand to qualify, but only one of the hole cards is needed to complete the hand.
Bart Hanson and Nichoel Jurgens will be taking calls and answering your questions on Tuesday, November 1st from 6:00 p.m. PDT until 9:00 p.m. PDT.
For the first time ever, our viewing audience will be able to call in to the show via Skype and ask questions, discuss game theory and/or reminise about past broadcasts ON THE AIR!!!
Just add "LiveattheBike" or "PokerNetcast" as a Skype contact, then watch liveatthebike.com at 6:00 p.m. If viewers you are a little shy and would rather write in your questions, simiply send them by email to [email protected], post your question on our Facebook Page or send it by Twitter to @LiveattheBike.com, @BartHanson or @NichoelJurgens.
While we will not have a game for you to watch on Tuesday, we hope you'll take this opportunity to call in and be our guest on Live at the Bike!
Poker Netcast’s Live at the Bike webcast, the first and only cash game poker captured specifically for the web and streamed direct from the world famous Bicycle Casino, has just gotten better.
Since its initial debut in early 2005, the Live at the Bike webcast has brought live poker, from mid limits to high stakes cash games to million dollar tournaments, into the homes of hundreds of thousands of people worldwide. Live at the Bike has aired nearly 500 episodes of unedited cash and tournament games utilizing multiple cameras in and around the Live at the Bike table, with commentators discussing the action and game theory.
“Live at the Bike was reality poker at its best; an unscripted and uncasted live cash game that showed everyone’s whole cards. It was the best insight you could get to how players play poker during a standard session.”- pokeronamac.com
Now, Poker Netcast is proud to announce that it will unveil its new Radio-Frequency Identification table for the Bicycle Casino’s Big Poker Oktober $100,000 Guaranteed No Limit Hold’em final table webcast. The new Live at the Bike table will provide the Poker Netcast audience with a live, instant feed of all the action, better quality graphics of players’ hole cards, the board, and context-sensitive statistics during play.
The Big Poker Oktober $100,000 Guaranteed No Limit Hold’em final table will air on liveatthebike.com at 2:00 p.m. PDT on Saturday, September 24, 2011 with Alan Ly and Marie-Lizette Acoba calling the action. Although there will be no live commentators for the tournament final table, the Live at the Bike cash game will air at its regularly scheduled time on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. PDT with all the bells and whistles.
Danielle 'dmoongirl' Andersen is here in Los Angeles and will be sitting down to play with a few of our regulars on September 12, 2011 at 7:30 p.m.
The former Full Tilt Poker Red Pro is considered to be one of the top online cash game players around and one of the few women to successfully earn her living at the $25/$50 No Limit Hold'em 6-max on-line. If you've never heard of Danielle, you're not alone. Unlike Tom "Durrr" Dwan and Viktor "Isildur1" Blom, the 27-year-old wife and mother from New Ulm, Minnesota was able to stay low key for years. However, like many professional poker players with money stuck on Full Tilt, Andersen has had to step away from her computer and small town lifestyle to bring her game to the felt.
As part of her recent foray into the public eye, Andersen will be featured in the upcoming poker documentary, "Boom," scheduled for release in 2012. But there is no need to wait for next year to watch dmoongirl in action, because she will be our featured player on liveatthebike.com this Tuesday.
